HEALTH CHECK 

Cashflow Visibility: Do you have clear visibility on your day-to-day cashflow for at least the next six weeks?
Working Capital: Do you have appropriate working capital to ensure you won’t run out of cash as you grow the business?
Financial Model & Strategy: Do you have a financial model that mirrors your strategy, includes the key assumptions that drive your business, and allows you to test how decisions affect profitability and cashflow?
R&D Tax Incentives: If you’re developing an innovative product or service, are you considering whether you’re eligible for the Research & Development tax refund/credit?
Banking / Funding Partner: Do you have a primary banking or funding partner who understands your business, is aligned with your strategy, and has confidence in your direction?
Monthly Financial Review: Do you review financial statements by the 8th of the following month so you can understand performance early and make timely decisions to continuously improve profitability?
Preparing for Sale or Investment: Are you preparing your business for sale or investment and don’t currently have a senior finance person embedded in your strategy or project?
Monthly Tax Management: Are you managing tax liabilities and provisioning for tax on a monthly basis?
External Business Review: Have you ever had an external party respectfully review your business to identify improvement opportunities to strengthen the business and improve profitability?
Scalable Finance Systems: Do you have financial systems in place that are set up to support the future growth of your business?
